Stegherr Picture Frame Machines
The Stegherr KSF cross joint milling machines convince through their design, first-class finish and various processing options. The robust and reliable design ensures a durable and maintenance-free machine life along with highest precision in the production of cross joints.
KSS

The KSS machine cuts V-notches in glass strips, water drainage channels or similar profiles of wood, aluminum, MDF or PVC at +/- 45°.The saw blades are mounted at a 90 degree angle so that the profiles are notched in one cycle. The NC pusher ensures an absolutely accurate positioning of the components. Defect detection and length optimization are available as optional. Connection of a label or a laser printer are possible as well.
The machine can be upgraded to fully automatic operation by mounting customized workpiece conveyors. The operator friendly machine program ensures easy operation both in the manual and in the online mode.
BRF

With the BRF machine pre-cut profiles (c. 250 – 3000 mm long) are milled simultaneously at both ends (tongue and groove). If provided with a workpiece feeder the machine can work fully automatically. An original patented outfeed system returns the finished workpieces underneath the machine table to the operator.
BRF-2

This special milling machine is designed for stretcher bar frames for the simultaneous processing of the left and right mitre site. This sturdy machine base is 3000 mm long and 1000 mm wide, (118" x 39") with a fixed and a movable carriage; the movable carriage is mounted on two linear guides. All milling unit carriages are mounted on linear guides and are pushed back and forth by means of pneumatic cylinders. The feed rate is progressively adjustable and features flat motors with 3000 rpm.
