Course: MC096 woodWOP 6 & 7 - Programming for WEEKE Nested CNCs
woodWOP is the versatile software platform base of WEEKE & HOMAG CNCs. While woodWOP is flexibly designed to be able to import from various other types of software, the focus this course will be in programming directly with woodWOP. Students learn efficient programming techniques of woodWOP 6, 6.1, and 7 software for their WEEKE nested-based CNC machining centers. Programming instruction includes how to increase CNC machining center functionality including vertical drilling, and trimming. Course instruction addresses efficiently creating pockets, free form pockets, polygon routing, processed part parameters, and contour arcs. Emphasis is also placed upon the use of variables & global variables, template values, conditional statements, components, block macros, and the fundamentals of DXF importation. MODELS: WEEKE Nested-based machines with woodWOP 6.0 or 6.1 or 7.0 including the WEEKE Vantage series and the WEEKE Vantech series models

Basic PC skills and prior experience with Windows
Understand basic programming parametrics. Apply accurate programming principals for vertical drilling and trimming. Produce programs for effective contour routing. Utilize program variables, template values, macros & conditional statements. Create pockets, polygons, and contour arcs. Use variables, template values, conditional statements, components, and block macros. Import DXF files.
