Course: MC066 woodWOP 6 - 7 Programming for Throughfeed CNCs
woodWOP is the versatile software platform base of WEEKE & HOMAG CNCs. While woodWOP is flexibly designed to be able to import from various other types of software, the focus this course will be in programming directly with woodWOP. Students learn efficient programming techniques of woodWOP 6, 6.1, and 7 software for their WEEKE BHX through-feed CNC machining centers. Programming instruction addresses how to increase CNC machining center functionality including horizontal & vertical drilling and trimming, and grooving & vertical sawing. Instruction includes efficiently creating pockets, polygon routing, processed part parameters, and contour arcs. Course addresses the use of variables & global variables, template values, conditional statements, components, block macros, and DXF importation.

Basic PC skills and prior experience with Windows
Understand basic programming parametrics. Apply accurate programming principals for vertical & horizontal drilling, and trimming. Develop basic boring programming. Produce programs for effective contour routing. Utilize program variables, template values, and macros & conditional statements. Create pockets, polygons & contour arcs. Use variables, template values, conditional statements, components, and block macros. Import DXF files.
