Course: MC066 woodWOP 6 - 7 Programming for Throughfeed CNCs
woodWOP is the versatile software platform base of WEEKE & HOMAG CNCs. While woodWOP is flexibly designed to be able to import from various other types of software, the focus this course will be in programming directly with woodWOP. Students learn efficient programming techniques of woodWOP 6, 6.1, and 7 software for their WEEKE BHX through-feed CNC machining centers. Programming instruction addresses how to increase CNC machining center functionality including horizontal & vertical drilling and trimming, and grooving & vertical sawing. Instruction includes efficiently creating pockets, polygon routing, processed part parameters, and contour arcs. Course addresses the use of variables & global variables, template values, conditional statements, components, block macros, and DXF importation.
“The hands-on experience & the willingness of the instructor to address all concerns was phenomenal. I feel confident that the information will allow me to effectively operate and maintain our new machine.“ Closets by Design -- Duration: 3 days
