Course: CR105 HEIAN CNC Routers -Prgrmng, Operation & Prev.Maint
Students learn machine terminology & features, safety, tooling and the fundamentals of programming, operation, and preventative maintenance of HEIAN CNC routers. Programming instruction addresses the Cartesian coordinate system, NC codes, an overview of G codes, modal & non-modal commands, explanation of interpolation, an introduction to CAD|CAM and the use of trigonometry & geometry to assure proper formatting. Machine instruction includes the FANUC control, how to increase machine and tooling life, correct setup and fixturing, and preventative maintenance.
