Course: CNC220 woodWOP Programming and Vacuum Pod CNC Operation
woodWOP is the multi-dimensional, CAD-style programming and design platform for HOMAG CNC equipment. woodWOP establishes a common programming language translatable from screen to machine. This course introduces this common programming language and outlines a library of functions (drilling, routing, sawing, etc.) to efficiently and accurately design and build customized projects with the industry’s best vacuum pod technology. A hands-on navigation of the machine further explores its full range of capabilities while emphasizing safe operation.

By taking this course, participants will be able to… - Identify and describe various machine hardware components (Comprehension). - Define a myriad of woodWOP functions, modes, and parameters, and their effects on both program generation and machine operation (Knowledge). - Create, locate, open, modify, and save at least ten (10) realistic panel designs in the woodWOP environment (Synthesis). - Analyze specific error messages to diagnose and troubleshoot both programming and operation issues (Analysis). - Import three (3) pre-designed programs (.dxf files) using proper importation procedures (Application).
