Stiles maintains a strong commitment to improving our industry by contributing our time and talent to a wide range of trade associations throughout the country. Our employees volunteer hundreds of hours each year supporting these initiatives, offering years of industry knowledge and expertise to foster growth.
Stiles is proud to support the efforts of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, based in Copemish, Michigan. Their mission is to reforest the earth with the world’s most important old growth trees, including California's giant redwoods, which provide a myriad of benefits to the environment and humankind.
The Manufacturing Industry Learning Lab (MiLL) offers training courses in lean manufacturing, using the latest woods technology and industry-driven curriculum. It is the first national training center of its kind designed to educate future leaders and talents in the wood manufacturing industry.
Stiles has partnered with Edward B. Mueller Co. to provide machinery and training for the annual SkillsUSA Cabinetmaking competition. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry representatives working together to ensure the future of America’s skilled workforce.
Stiles is a longtime partner and supporter of the Wood Technology Program at Pittsburg State University. The Wood Technology Program is one of the top wood processing programs in the United States, offering two and four-year degrees in wood processing and preparing students for rewarding careers in secondary wood products industry.
Stiles is proud to host an annual golf outing in support of P.O.R.T., The Pediatric Oncology Resource Team. P.O.R.T helps provide high-quality, safe health care for children and families within the pediatric hematology/oncology program and the blood and bone marrow transplantation program at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
Stiles is a proud participant in Relay For Life which exists to bring communities together to honor cancer survivors, remember lost loved ones and raise support to help the American Cancer Society in their fight for a cancer-free world.
