ProLink Control Software
The ProLink suite represents our unmatched service to our Kentwood moulder customers.
The ProLink machine interface is designed to improve the efficiency of the moulder user who sees multiple changeovers per shift, draws from an extensive profile and tool library, looks to gain consistent repeatability and seeks the extra edge in the competitive marketplace.
Whether looking to streamline the setup of a manual moulder by displaying setting information for each machine component, directing the control of a single motorized axis, or driving the setup of an entire CNC machine, ProLink provides the necessary bridge between the tool room, production office and machines on the production floor. Interfacing with Pro Stand measuring system, tooling can be created or sharpened and saved, instantly updating the entire database.
ProLink offers 10,000 programs of memory, interactive production module specifying build order and enabling real-time tracking by order number, profile name/number, quantity, footage, as well as start and stop times and operator responsibility for each run.
Furthering its value, ProLink doubles as a machine diagnostic system, clearly displaying and guiding operators to locations of machine faults and providing descriptions and locations of issues -- even in the electrical cabinet! Combine these features with remote diagnostics, online machine documentation and multiple language selection, ProLink closes the loop concerning solid wood machining.
Versions:
ProLink Elite: Moulder module providing the foundation for tool room linking and full CNC machine setup for the customer purchasing an automated machinery configuration.
ProLink Lite: Condensed moulder module providing computer-assisted setup for the customer purchasing a machine with manual or motorized spindle positions.
ProLink Office: Moulder module designed to complete the communication loop between the production office, machine and tool room, providing statistical analysis of each run, real-time production scheduling and monitoring the status of each machine linked to the system from a central office location.
The office module also addresses the need for decrease setup and downtime associated with tooling changeover on older machine configurations. Operating ProLink Office in this environment and linking with a Pro Stand measuring device and label printer in the tool room provides an effective, lost cost method to realize the value of computer assisted setup without having to make an immediate investment in new machines.
