iConnect Data Historian
Data Historian can collect and store information about the hundreds of events that happen daily so companies can identify opportunities for enhanced profitability and improved quality. Data Historian can be used to determine how changes to processes, training programs, improved tooling, new equipment, and other variables are affecting overall operations. In conjunction with other iConnect modules, Data Historian can log events with or without the assistance of personnel so they can be analyzed and referenced over time.
A flexible program that is limited only by the imagination of its users, Data Historian can be integrated with a company’s existing database system and other iConnect modules to:
- Provide detailed information on who was operating a particular work station at a date and time, along with the resulting occurrence of good versus unacceptable parts.
- Give aggregated information on the number of parts per shift through a work cell, a department or the entire plant.
- Record the time it takes for an individual part to be produced, the percentage of rework for a particular part and give the most likely reasons for rework.
- Record information that details when goods were delivered to particular customer locations, right down to the name of the customer’s representative who signed the truck manifest when the products were accepted.
