The Stiles Virtual University is all about "electronic" learning, or eLearning. With eLearning, you don't need to leave your desk or shop to get the training that you and your employees need.

Unlike traditional classroom learning, with eLearning, the student and the instructor are not at the same physical location at the same time. This approach offers many benefits, including:

Work at Your Own Pace courses - Computer-Based Training Kits

Work at Your Own Pace courses allow you to increase your knowledge when and where your schedule will allow. This type of training course is available at any time and at any location, with a multi-media-capable PC. Our CBT courses shorten the learning curve and increase your knowledge and that of your employees.

Interactive Exercises and Simulations

Stiles Education offers several interactive computer-based training (CBT) modules designed to enhance the basic skills students learned in our traditional instructor-led classes. Interactive exercises and simulations help clarify topics and allow the user to practice skills and review critical concepts as needed.

Multiple Users Can Share the Course

When you purchase a CBT kit, we encourage multiple users to learn--each at their own pace, taking time to review and practice new skills. Continuing Education Units (CEUs are available for two individuals per kit).

Webinars

Webinars are on-line seminars that bring a virtual classroom to you. Students and instructors interact in real time over the Internet. Students and instructors communicate via telephone systems, while our technology allows software applications, such as WoodWOP, to be shared.

Augment on-the-job experience with virtual classroom training. Learn at your location, interact with the instructor and take advantage of the latest learning approach. Your workforce does not need to travel anywhere except to a computer. As students hear the instructor teach, they see the education material right in front of them on the screen. If a question arises, it can be asked by the student and addressed right then by the teacher. No waiting. No loss of interest. The instructor and student communicate through teleconferencing. It's just like being in a real classroom allowing for group discussion and participation.
