Education ClassStiles Education provides machine-specific training through a series of scheduled sessions at our regional training facilities or at your manufacturing site. In addition, Stiles continues to generate a series of online educational resources in our solutions section of this website.

The best tools in the best hands have long distinguished the leaders in wood craftsmanship and construction. It was true in the 1800s, it was true when Stiles Machinery Inc. was launched in 1965 and it remains true today. That’s why, in 1990, we founded Stiles Education (SE): to put the industry’s best tools in the most competent hands by providing the most comprehensive education. A 40+ course curriculum spans an introduction to panel processing through advanced programming and troubleshooting for computer numeric controls--all taught by instructors with over 150 years of combined experience in the wood industry.

20+ years of training service.

In May 1990, Stiles Education launched our first class on edgebander operation with a total of six students enrolled. Since then, we have trained over 30,000 alumni through a variety of course programs that supports each of our products. Many of our students have since taken additional classes to help build their expertise and increase their company's ability to stay competitive in this changing industry.

Though our Stiles Education programs are known as the education and training center of the wood working industry, we have expanded our curriculum to include specialized courses in plastics, composites and other advanced materials.

A company's greatest asset is its personnel and our goal is to continue expanding our programs and specializations to keep companies on the cutting edge of knowledge and expertise.

A Stiles Education is a hands-on education that builds skills quickly.

Stiles Education has more than 30 PC workstations for learning CAD software and CNC programming, three classrooms featuring state-of-the-art projection systems, and a complete equipment demonstration area. As a Stiles Education student you’ll "learn by doing," the most effective type of training for developing an intimate understanding of a tool’s capabilities.
