To compete in this new and changing market, you must be able to fabricate wood panels that are actually engineered to cut weight with minimal sacrifices in strength, durability, or aesthetics.
Lightweight honeycomb construction, for example, enables you to engineer product with several different materials that combine to meet your customers’ performance specifications. High technology glue and assembly elements help set you apart from your competition with components that are up to 70% lighter. Blockboard - soft wood strips bonded together and sandwiched between layers of veneer. A versatile panel fabrication machine will enable you to produce, in continuous operation, center core for blockboard panels, door panels and three-layer panels, using a PVAc adhesive.
Composite panels also meet your customers’ requirements for green, strong, lightweight panels. You can efficiently fabricate honeycomb panels greater than 1" thick for use in office furniture, store fixtures and RTA, laminating many different materials to particleboard and MDF substrates such as HPL, CPL, chipboard, and veneer with PUR hot melt adhesive.
Sandwich panel machines trap a core of extruded polystyrene (EPS) between two pieces of veneer to create a rigid yet light panel with insulating properties.
Lightweight Panel Line machines let you make full-size, lightweight (paper) honeycomb panels in a frameless process that can use a formaldehyde-free adhesive.
