Heesemann's new BM-8 brush sander saves labor and time for sanding both raw wood and sealer coat of 3D workpieces by eliminating hand sanding. For greater feed speeds while maintaining a smaller workpiece minimum length and perfect sanding coverage, the BM-8 comes standard with the R-U-T head as well as two drum brush heads rotating in opposite directions and angled to the work surface.

Heesemann's new R-U-T head has 19 rotating discs that move in an oval path perpendicular to the feed direction. To guarantee superb coverage while maintaining a uniform scratch, the sanding discs meet the workpiece edges continuously from two opposite directions, while the rotation of the discs via a single drive ensures that they all turn at the same speed and sand the same amount. The path and speed of the sanding discs is infinitely adjustable with the use of frequency inverters. Designed to be modular, the R-U-T sanding head can be part of any Heesemann widebelt sanding machine or as an integral part of the Heesemann BM-8 brush sanding machine.
