Handling Systems
System TM offers a wide range of mechanical handling systems for automation of main machines for increased capacity and reduced labor. The handling systems are designed to feed workpieces into different main machines such as moulders, double end tenoners, rip saws, sanders, etc.

The Opti-Feed 3000 is suitable for handling short workpieces from 380mm to 2500 mm (15" to 98"), at the capacity of 50 workpieces or 5 layers per minute by uniform lengths. By the modular design of the Opti-Feed 3000, the entire destacking unit is suspended from a portal enabling the destacking of layers from packs directly on the floor. When changes to the production length are made, the new required length can easily be keyed in at the operator panel, and the Opti-Feed 3000 automatically adjusts to the new length.

The Opti-Feed 6000 handles long workpieces from 1200mm to 6100 mm (4' to 20'), at a capacity of 40 workpieces per minute. System TM offers three Opti-Feed 6000 solutions, matching specific requirements with regard to feeding, floor space and investment. The Opti-Feed 6000 can be equipped with optional features such as pack transport, stick transport, stick collector, equipment for edge protection and noise reduction, bow detection and turning decide, reject station, etc.
