Holzma introduces the Power Concept available on Series 3 panel saws, specifically the HPL 380. The Power Concept consists of an additional independently functioning collet chuck for cross splitting different sized panels at the same time in the same workspace. The two systems handle different panels at the same time to share the work--one system works at the front, while the other collects the next stack of panels from the lift table. Advantages include significantly reduced cutting cycles, increased material throughput, lower costs per cut, and precise cutting of even very narrow strips. Requiring a small amount of operating space, the Power Concept is a cost-effective yet high-tech solution.

Holzma Optical Infeed

The Holzma Optical Infeed System (patent pending) is designed to accurately measure and infeed panels as thin as one millimeter into either a single cutting line, back loading saw, or an angular system. The Optical Infeed System makes it feasible to use push infeed technology with very thin panels where previously either manual infeeding or vacuum infeeding was required. The Optical Infeed System makes it possible to infeed exact quantities of sheets according to the cutting pattern requirements, even if the panels being fed exhibit thickness variation within the panel and waviness.

The Optical Infeed System is also very versatile in that it can be used not only with thin panels, but also with thick, eliminating the need for multiple infeed systems if the application requires a broad range of panel thicknesses.

The Optical Infeed System can also be used with mixed thickness bundles and provides a safety check method through measurement insuring that the correct thickness panel is being fed according to the cutting pattern.

Holzma HPP 380

Holzma's HPP 380 Optimat Front-Loading Panel Saw is an excellent solution for short run, just-in-time panel production. Holzma HPL 510

Holzma's HPL 510 is a powerful addition to our line of panel cut-up systems. The HPL 510 features a video camera, integrated with the machine's CADmatic control. The integrated camera gives the machine operator an eagle's eye view of the infeed operation from his workstation. This system helps resolve two problems: the extensive amount of time lost to material changeovers and jams created due to unseen material glitches.

Holzma HPP 350

Holzma's HPP 350 front-loading panel saw is a flexible and productive solution for the small shop. The HPP 350 is equipped with CADmatic 4.0 control and a saw carriage 30 percent faster than its predecessor, the HPP 72. This saw is available with a wide range of specialty cutting capabilities.
