The Fumes-to-Fuel VOC abatement system is capable of reducing thermal energy consumption by 80%, generating usable electricity, and reducing VOC emissions as much as 50% and greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90%. The two-stage process begins in a fluidized bed concentrator, as a stream of VOC-laden air is passed through carbon beds for absorption and conveyed to a desorber. The heated carbon releases the VOCs, which are then taken downstream. Finally in a collector, a thermal reformer strips hydrogen to produce the electricity.
