Prerequisites

BZ101, MC050, MC051, MC080, MC090 or MC100 or 6 months experience with WoodWOP 4.xx/5.xx programming

Course description

This advanced programming course takes the experienced WoodWOP 4.xx/5.xx user through a series of programming projects designed to teach upper-level programming techniques. These projects cover complex routing, parametrics, aggregates and the use of specialized subprograms to enhance the machine's basic capabilities. Other topics discussed include importation of DXF files and complex aggregate programming. MODELS: Weeke BHP200, Weeke BHC250, 280, 350, 500, 550, 555, 750, 600 and 800 series, Weeke BP60, 80, 85, 100, 120, 140, 145, 150, 155, Weeke BP12 and 15 (upgraded to WoodWOP 4.0 minimum), Weeke Venture series, Weeke Vantage series, Weeke Vantech series, Homag BAZ series, and Homag BOF series.

Who should attend

  • Programmers and operators who use WoodWOP

Applicable machine models

  • Machining Centers

Major topics

  • Proper WoodWOP programming statements
  • Advanced parametrics
  • Complex contour routing
  • Use of aggregates (ie: vector router)
  • Drawing analysis that leads to correct program structure (order of variables)
  • DXF conversion and layer structuring

What you will learn

  • Advanced mathematics to apply powerful parametric programs
  • Complex routing procedures for the CNC controllers
  • Transferring files from CAD programs into WoodWOP
  • How to create complex parametric routing programs

Results

  • Gain production and programming efficiency from the use of parametric programming
  • Push machine processing to fullest capabilities, eliminate offline operations
  • Minimize manual calculations; get rid of templates and full project layouts
  • Write complex routing programs for complex radius products
  • Manipulate the machine capabilities to meet your production needs
