The Homag Print Line revolutionizes the edgebanding design process through technology that allows for the application of any color or pattern via a print technique that has never been accomplished previously. This new technology supports lean manufacturing principles by eliminating the need for multi-coil edgeband magazines, extensive material inventory, procurement and handling logistics.

The Print Line system imprints a selected color image directly onto a neutral ABS edge material from a single unit to any number of multiple units, in support of both batch size one and high volume manufacturing environments. Images may be scanned and downloaded to the Print Line from any PC equipped with appropriate system software such as PhotoShop. Typical time from scan to print for an item never produced is 20 minutes. Previously scanned images are printed on demand. All four-color processes are completed in a single pass.

The Homag BAZ 322 is a complete contour machining and edgebanding center for routing, drilling, edgebanding and edge finishing on curvi-linear components including 360-degree applications.
